The Third Heaven, also known as the Sorrowful Heaven of the Morning Star (明星悲想天, myojo hisoten). Ruled over by Nerose Satanael, with his Law of Divine Ordinance of the Sombre Heaven (天道悲想天, Tendou Hisoten) Emanating outward.

It was a World of rationality, born out of a desire to cleanse the World of sin after the chaos and depravity of the Second Heaven

One could say it is the idealized manifestation of Muzan's Law. Though this does not wholly capture the nature of this Shrine.

It is a World with people without any ambition or desire, where they simply live, and than die. Their lives having no meaning, and no significance.[1]

Nerose belived that if he eliminated all desire and prejudices, along with all competition, he would be able to keep everything under control and give everyone equal rights. Thus it was a Paradise without Emotion. Where everything is defined by mathematical formulas.

Thus all creation was made without sin. But as a result free will was made a myth of bygone days. No Autonomy, no Free Will. As both of those concepts were the Foundation that Sin was built upon. Thus be eradicating free will and inviduality, one would to eradicate Sin and strife.

Its setting is that of Ancient Times.

Lasts 20,000 to 30,000 Years before Satanael is slain by Mercurius, bringing about the birth of the Fourth Heaven.

Shamash[]

Main article: Shamash

The Shamash are the primary intellegent species in Zoar, beings that have no sembelance of free will, all connected together in a hivemind. Thus every thought, every emotion, and every belief if shared by all beings. Like a monochrome portrait.

Gommorah[]

Main article: Gommorah

The Gommorah is an organization of heretics who are free from the shackles of the Hivemind of Shamash, making them free thinkers who have developed a sense of individuality. But for this they were shunned by society, treated as heretics and made into outcasts.  They hate the Hivemind and wish for it to be destroyed, so that all beings would be able to have their own indviduality.

Trivia[]

It was named after Zoara, also known as Bela. One of the Cities of the Plain mentioned in the Book of Genesis. Which was spared from the destruction that fell upon Sodom and Gomorrah, due to the Prayers of Lot.

Note: As it has yet to be depicted in any Shinzabanshou work, outside of a retconned version at the end of Paradise Lost, we know very little about it, only going off of the information of History of Pantheon and the Mosuleum in Kajiri Kamui Kagura.
