Zaurid (ザリチェード, Zarichēdo) is a High-Ranking Deava and one of the last remaining members of the Locust Swarm Ashema. She was been a scourge on the Cosmos for centuries, destroying myriad planets in their entirety and slaying even Star Spirits with relative ease.
Personality[]
She is an erratic woman who threw away her humanity. She has developed a communication disorder, often stuttering and not being good at interacting with others.
Appearence[]
She is described as a woman wearing bloodred armour. Both her eyes were covered in gruesomely deep shades, she had scrawny cheeks, as if being underweight, and her skin was ashen, deathly pale in colour. No matter how you looked at it, she didn't seem like a living human at all.
Post-Fractured World she takes the appearence of a Chimera-like monstrosity, her and Taurvid fused together in an unnatural and disturbing manner.
Abilities[]
As a Dregvant she has control over the Power of Ego, allowing her to warp reality to her will. Ennacting phenomena that should be logically impossible through nothing but sheer strength of Ego; and her Ego is among the mightiest in Ahura Mazda, rivaling that of Demon Kings in its strength.
As one of the Locusts, and a Quasi-Demon King, she has strength bordering on the level of a Demon King. Able to slay high-ranking Star Spirits with relative ease.
Having slain Ameretat, and stolen her power as a Star Spirit, she is capable of instantaniously teleporting wherever she desires. Thus making her role as a scourge upon the cosmos, like the Charjalat of Megiddo.
She bears a gigantic, to the point of being comical, attack spear. When through her spear will always travel the shortest distance between herself and her foe, moving at velocities nearing the speed of light.
She herself was even capable of using her Power of Ego to move at velocties surpassing the speed of light, what would normally be an impossible feat.
Commandment: Hazah Ruma[]
A Commandment possessed by all Locusts, that, in exchange for the binding of, "Having no choice but to fight whoever person you meet with one's full power," one would gain the boon of "Turning into a perpetual motion machine whose stamina won't dissipate".
Basically in exchange for having to fight every person one meets to one's fullest extent, one will gain stamina that will never be depleted.
This forces all those bound to it to have to live a life of eternal conflict and isolation. Tearing the world apart like a swarm of Locusts.
Commandment: Zauri Astovisat[]
She has a second Commandment, known as Zauri Astovisat (ザリチェ・アストウィーザート, Zariche asutou~īzāto), or Spear that Craves for the Straight Path towards Annihilation (殲くし直進する渇望の槍, Senmetsukushi Chokushinsuru Katsubō no Yari) which has the binding of "All actions one perfoms must be carried out with a straight ahead trajectory", she obtains "Skyrocketing of all of one's offensive and defensive power, as well as precision." as a boon. In short, it is a Commandment that leads to a peerless specialization in a single art via limiting to the extreme the class of techniques one can use.
As this Commandment is fitting with her personality the difficulty of adherence to it is less than that of Taurvid, and as it is in accordance with her desire it is easier to fuse it with her Power of Ego.
It is far more vicious than Hazah Ruma.[1], Originally, it was a technique that accomplished indiscriminate slaughter, and because it is in contradiction with Hazah Ruma, it's current state has suffered a malformation. Through Zaurid's feelings of awe towards Bahlavan being stronger than those of Taurvid, her technique has degradated to the level in which she can't even touch third parties.
It is a Commandment has a Condition that wholly contradicts that of Hazah Ruma, and she forcibly prevents a Commandment break through her own Power of Ego, and the more she adheres to one Commandment the more powerful that Commandment would become.
Palangineh[]
Despite not being a Man Murdering Demon she is capable of using Palangineh, this is becuase as a Locust she is able to single-mindedly focus on a singular goal, a singular thought in much the same way the Murderers are, thus she too is able to use Hollow Commandments. Just as it is with the Man Murdering Demons he is capable of making temporary Commandments that she could cast off at will. Allowing her to gain even greater power without the commitment that is most often present in Commandments.
Fractured World Fusion[]
After being fused with Taurvid through Fractured World her power increased severalfold, making her powerful enough to stand toe to toe with even Demon Kings, becoming equal to Bahlavan's might.
Both of their Commandments work in unison to create an exceptionally powerful technique, a spiral moving forward, comparable to a drill. The embodiment of Aeshema, two Powers of Ego burning inside a singular being, its piercing power reaching transcendent levels.
After being split apart by Norwuz Ahura Mazda, she, along with Taurvid, was left weak and crippled. Unable to survive on her own, left to die.
Trivia[]
She is the Deava of Aging and Decay, putting her in direct opposition of Ameretat, both in Myth and in Avesta.
