Tenma Yato (天魔・夜刀, Tenma Yatō?) is the Leader of the Yatsukahagi, and is Ren Fuji 8000 years after the events of Dies Irae. The head of a new group, formed by himself, called the Yatsukahagi who swore to protect the world from Hajun.
Personality[]
Tenma Yato after defending the remnants of Marie's world for 8000 years now is extremely insane, ruthless as demonstrated he and the rest of the Yastukahagi easily massacred the Eastern Expedition 300 years ago and brutally beaten the current expedition so they can prepare for Hajun.
However despite all of this, Tenma Yato desires to end Hajun as he killed Marie and his rivals and when he's defeated by Habaki he trusts him and his team to overthrow Hajun.
Abilities[]
As a Hadou God he is transcendent of creation and able to enforce his Law upon the World, and is unable to be harmed by those within the World, like an image of a flame cannot harm its artist.[1] And like all Gods he is the origin and manifestation of his Law. [2]
He is capable of feeling and seeing all that happens in his territory, that being the entirety of Edo, as if it were his own body.
He is able to create a physical manifestation of his Law, known as a Kamunagara, his taking the form of an enormous Naga.
His abilities as a Hadou God are far increased, reaching a Taikyoku value of 100. All of his abilities become absolute, to a far greater degree than in Dies Irae.
Though, during the events of Kajiri Kamui Kagura, he has his power reduced to the rank of 70. Although he eventually returned back to full power by the sacrifice of the Yatsukahagi.
Infinite Great Crimson Hell (太極・無間大紅蓮地獄)[]
A Glacier-like World that stops the flow of all things in the Universe, a manifestation of his desire to protect his loved ones. Thus he uses it to protect the World from the Law of Hajun.
He freezes the World in an immortal time throughout the year. The Eternal Moment of his desire.
It also turns all those that follow him and all those he allows to move, into Psuedo-Dieties, thus granting great power to the Eight Pillars of the Yatsukahagi. In particular it grants them the "Time Armour", which grants them a state of existence wherein they cannot be changed by external forces due to being made to exist on a different "phase" to all else. This power and protection only applies to them when they are in Edo. This protection allows them to stay alive even when Mugen Kannazuki is removed and their existence starts to crumble. The level of power of the Pseudo God is based off the level of connection that one have with Yato with Momiji and Umibozu having the weakest connection and lowest level of strengthening, and Sukuna and Ootake, being so connected and close to Ren that they equate him in terms of law, power etc....

Yato (夜刀) is likely a reference to the Yato no Kami (夜刀の神).
"gods of the night-sword" are snake deities in Japanese folklore appearing in the Hitachi No Kuni Fudoki (常陸国風土記)
His Taikyoku is named after the Avici Hell or 無間地獄 , the Eighth and Most Painful Hell in Buddhism. A Realm of Unending and Indescribable Suffering. 大紅蓮 means "Great Crimson Lotus"
According to Masada, his clothing is actually Marie's Dress.
