Taurvid (タルヴィード, Taruvu~īdo) is a Daeva of great power and one of the members of the Violent Locust Swarm Aeshma.
Personality[]
He is abysmally bright and frank, forward looking man; one who could change tones between two extremes at the drop of a hat.
He is like a hotblooded shonen protagonist, though one distorted to the side of evil, in short you could say he is a sultry idiot.
His core concept is that of "heat".
His personality is completely at odds with his Commandment, Taurvi Asto-visat, making it difficult to work with. He is much more compatible with Hazah Rəma, and he wishes to make both Taurvi Asto-visat and Hazah Rəma to be made fully compatible so he can reach his full potential.
Appearence[]
He was clad in an armor that left no gaps, of blue silver color, while the morning sun shone down on him, while also carrying two elegant curved swords.
His figure was that of a holy knight depicted in fairy tales, however, he was a lump smelling of blood and corpses, easily exceeding one hundred million.
He is described as quite a handsome individual, though has any physical attractiveness made meaningless behind his mocking, condescending tone and the overpowering effluvium of bloodshed and murder.
Abilities[]
The power that he holds is some of the greatest in Ahura Mazda. Enough to stand a chance against, and stalemate, Bahlavan, along with being able to slay one of the mightiest Star Spirits, that being Haurvatat.
He has over five centuries worth of combat experience. Making him nigh insurmountable not just in his physical prowess, but also in his martial expertise. The amount of men he killed easily surpassed a hundred million.
Due to slaying a Star Spirit he has the ability to instantly teleport anywhere in the universe, allowing him to sow even greater destruction than he could before.
As he is a Daeva he has the ability to warp reality to his will through the Power of Ego, further increasing his power due to his powerful will and bloodlust, and as a Quasi-Demon King his Power of Ego is more powerful than most.
He fights with two elegant, curved swords.
Commandment: Hazah Rə'ma[]
Main article: Hazah Ruma
His Commandment, In exchange for the binding of "Having no choice but to fight whoever person you meet with one's full power", the boon is "Turning into a perpetual motion machine whose stamina won't dissipate". Thus, forcing him into combat with all living creatures he comes into contact with, regardless of their age, species, sex, or alignment, making him like the Charjala of Meggido, a Swarm of Locusts devouring all things in creation.
It turns one into an unstoppable fighting machine, granting him incredible strength and stamina, allowing him to overcome foes that should be much more powerful than himself.
Commandment: Taurvi Astovisat[]
His original Commandment, known as Taurvi Astovisat (タルヴィ・アストウィーザート, Taruvu~i asutou~īzāto) or Sword that Craves to follow the Spiraling Path towards Annihilation (殲くし螺旋する熱望の剣, Senmetsukushi Rasensuru Netsubō no Ken) In exchange for the binding of "All actions one performs must be carried out with a spiral trajectory", he obtains "Skyrocketing of all of one's offensive and defensive power, as well as precision" as a boon. In short, it is a Commandment that leads to a peerless specialization in a single art via limiting to the extreme the class of techniques one can use.
However, because such a thing entered in contradiction with the later self imposed Hazah Ruma, it suffered a malformation-like transformation: being able to display his power to its limits and beyond against people he has established mutual recognition with, but having this Commandment's effects degrades against people with whom he hasn't.
Due to this contradiction's effects upon the potency of the opposing Commandment, he developed a objective, that being to make Taurvi Asto-visat and Hazah Rəma completely compatible, and once that happens he'd force all people existing in the place to face towards him, recognize them all at the same time and round them all up.
Palangineh[]
Main article: Palangineh
Despite not being a Man Murdering Demon he is capable of using Palangineh, this is because as a Locust he is able to single-mindedly focus on a singular goal, a singular thought in much the same way the Murderers are, thus he too is able to use Hollow Commandments. Just as it is with the Man Murdering Demons he is capable of making temporary Commandments that he could cast off at will, allowing him to gain even greater power without the commitment that is most often present in Commandments.
Trivia[]
He is named after the Avestan Daeva known as Taurvi or as he is known in modern times as Tauriz or Tawrich. One of the Six Arch-Demons that stand as the Anti-thesises of the Amesha Spenta. A being of Destruction that stands opposite of the Wholeness of Haurvatat.
Asto-visat is the "Evil Vay who carries breath-soul away", as it is said, "When he touches a man with his hand, it is sleep: when he casts his shadow upon him, it is fever: and when he sees him with his eye, he smites the breath soul".
