Kei Sakurai (櫻井螢, Sakurai Kei), also known as Leonhard August (レオンハルト・アウグスト, Reonharuto Augusuto) is one of the Main Heroines of Dies Irae. Occupying Seat V of the Longinus Dreizehn Orden since the death of Valkyria in 1995, she is the youngest individual among their ranks.

She has a deep love for Kai Sakurai and Beatrice Kirscheisen, and has deep rooted, primal emotions borne of their passing.

As a Knight of the Obsidian Round Table she possesses great strength granted to her by the Die Ewigkeit Formula, making her impervious to any and all weapons created by mankind, up to and including the greatest nuclear explosives known to man.
