Bahlavan (バフラヴァーン, Bafuravu~ān) is one of the Seven Great Demon Kings, being ranked 3rd among them. A warrior who searches for powerful foes across the cosmos.
He is the incarnation of the Malignancy of Violence (暴性, Abashou)[1]
Personality[]
A Battle-Maniac who faces anyone and anything with all of his power. He fights others for proof of his own strength, and to observe the strength of others. No matter who they may be.
He believes that he must fight with all his might against everyone he meets, holding back against no man.[2]
He is a simple man, wishing only to fight and strengthen himself, a man following basemost convictions and desires without any true death or meaning. Seeking only to bring about death and destruction for his own amusement, like the apotheosis of Evil as defined by Avesta.
His Immutability is that of Strife (闘争, Tōsō).
Masada states that if the Demon Kings were a family he would be the "Delinquent Second Son" [3]
Abilities[]
In terms of pure combat skill and experience he is the strongest among the Demon Kings. Spending nearly two millennia going across the universe from planet to planet to fight against strong opponents, and making himself stronger from the encounter.
In terms of sheer Power of Ego, he is the mightiest being in all of Ahura Mazda, for his Ego and convictions are stronger than any other.[4]
He is able to fight toe-to-toe with Khvarenah, even was able to take direct shots from the entirety of the Star Cluster of Extinction, making him easily among the most powerful beings in the entirety of the First Heaven.
He is marked by a Gudou nature, though due to the nature of Ahura Mazda he is incapable of rising to the levels of a Gudou God. Hindering his strength, barring the gate of divinity from him despite him being a prime candidate for a Gudou God. [5]
Commandment: Hazah Rəma[]
A Commandment possessed by all Locusts, that, in exchange for the binding of "Having no choice but to fight whoever person you meet with one's full power", one would gain the boon of "Turning into a perpetual motion machine whose stamina won't dissipate".
Basically in exchange for having to fight every person one meets to one's fullest extent, one will gain stamina that will never be depleted.
This of course forces all those bond to it to have to live a life of eternal conflict and isolation. Tearing the world apart like a swarm of Locusts, and this works in perfect unison with Maurya Aeshma, forcing him to push ever onward to fufill his desire to become the "strongest".
Commandment: Maurya Aeshma[]
Bahlavan's primary and most personal Commandment, it operates under the binding of "Continuing to fight without the dread of loneliness", and in return he gets "Being able to create alter egos not one tiny bit different from oneself" as a boon.
This is engraved into the deepest levels of his subconsciousness, so much so that even he is unaware of its existence. Though despite this he was the resolution that, if certain conditions are met, his Commandment would be activated.[6]
This condition is thus, when fighting an opponent he considers "close to himself", the Commandment is invoked and his self-propagation would begin. Countless existences appearing like a swarm, all of which a perfect clone of Bahlavan in every way. All possessing his goal to be the strongest being in existence. Though, in doing so, he drowns in excitement and loses all self-awareness, entering a trance-like state where he is unaware of his surrondings or of his propogation. And will not regain his awareness untill he achieves universal destruction.[7]
In short, the more excited he gets fighting an opponents he deems as equal to himself, the more he would multiply and expand like a swarm of locusts. Able to propogate without limit, even capable of creating a million selves.
Trivia[]
He is named after Pahlavân (پهلوان) a Persian word translating to Hero, Paladin, Champion, or Wrestler. It can be alternatively romanized as Bahlawān.
